2012 Camren Williams Junior Highlights

In this video clip from CarolinaBlue.com, 2012 linebacker recruit Camren Williams shows his ability to get through defenders and make a play on the ball. The recent Ohio State commitment looks to make an impact for the Buckeyes right away in 2012. He is a sure tackler that can play in space and wrap up ball carriers easily. He doesn’t get outrun in the highlight clips and is considered the 8th best inside linebacker in the country according to Rivals.com. At the end of the video there are a couple of plays on the offensive side of the ball. Williams has a nice arm but colleges want him on the defensive side of the ball were he is a disruptive force.

David Perkins Senior Highlights Washington High School

In this great video from 247SportsStudio, Washington High School linebacker David Perkins shows his ability from the linebacker and defensive line positions. Often lining up at the defensive end position, he is able to get away from defenders and make plays on the ball, stripping the ball in the second clip from the quarterback. Near the 50 second mark there is a great clip of Perkins in space making a play behind the line of scrimmage on a screen play. The video shows some offense and punting clips towards the end. He is projected as a linebacker in college and recently committed to Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes for their 2012 class.

2012 Offensive Tackle Joey O'Connor Highlight Film

This highlight reel of Colorado Windsor High School offensive tackle Joey O’Connor shows him squatting 615lbs to start the film. He shows his incredible strength on the field also by throwing defensive lineman around like they only weighed half of what he can squat. The Ohio State Urban Meyer recruit recently switch his commitment from Penn State. The Jerry Sandusky scandal has rocked Penn State recruiting and Ohio State has quickly taken advantage. Ohio State put together the best defensive line class in the nation and is now building the best offensive line class possible with only a little bit of time remaining before National Letter of Intent Signing Day.

Windsor High School Offensive Tackle Joey O’Connor Highlights

In this highlight video of offensive tackle Joey O’Connor the 6’5” 276 lbs. lineman demonstrates what has placed him two spots away from the Rivals.com Top 100 national players. He drives players out of the play until the whistle is blown. He shows an incredible motor with quick and often pancakes of defensive line players. He has great strength and the ability to get position of the man across the line from him. O’Connor will play at Ohio State under Urban Meyer in 2012 along with a top offensive line class.

Taylor Decker 2012 Ohio Offensive Tackle Highlights

The 26th best offensive tackle in the country, according to Rivals.com, is Taylor Decker from Vandalia Butler Ohio. The 6’8” 315 lbs. offensive lineman recently switched his commitment from Notre Dame to Ohio State with the hiring of ND assistants Ed Warinner and Tim Hinton at OSU. In this highlight film Decker shows great athletic ability and strength to move the line of scrimmage. His pass protection is solid and his high school coach at Butler loves his work ethic.

Tommy Schutt–Defensive Line Glen Ellyn Glenbard West

Tommy Schutt became the first official commitment of Urban Meyer’s time at Ohio State when he changed his verbal commitment from Penn State to Ohio State. In this highlight film from TopRecruitFilms, Schutt shows his relentless attack on the quarterback and ability to push offensive linemen back into ball carriers where he is able to make the play. He has enough speed to make plays in the open field as you can see from the third clip starting at the 40 second mark. Meyer’s class at Ohio State is beginning to take shape with a number of big recruits committing at key positions over the past month. Schutt is a welcome addition to the 2012 Buckeye class.

2012 Ohio Defensive End Adolphus Washington

In this highlight video of Adolphus Washington, the Cincinnati Taft defensive end manhandles offensive lines to get after ball carriers. At the minute point of the highlight film, Washington goes unblocked and slams past a running back to pancake the quarterback. His hard tackling is demonstrated well as he drives through players again and again. Washington recently committed to play for Urban Meyer at Ohio State in 2012 over offers from Michigan State and Cincinnati. His teammate Dwayne Stanford was expected to select the same college but liked Oregon better than the two options that matched Washington’s selections, Ohio State and Cincinnati.

#2 Demetrious Cox- Jeannette

In this highlight film from FinestPrep.com, Jeannette PA safety prospect Demetrious Cox is shown hitting receivers hard as they make receptions or try to gain yards after a catch. In the final play of the video, Cox grabs a fumble in the air and runs it back for a touchdown. This purely defensive video shows much of the ability he has playing in the defensive backfield that has made him the top 14th safety in the country for 2012. Cox has made the decision to take his time with recruiting after narrowing his schools down to 10 in August.

Michael Thomas Taft High Football Highlights 2010-11

Michael Thomas was a top receiver out of the 2011 recruiting class nationally but made a decision to spend a semester at Fork Union Military Academy prior to starting college. Now the California and prep standout is looking to enroll in college in January and is considering Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Notre Dame. In this highlight video Thomas shows his speed and an ability to get up high to catch deep passes over shorter receivers. He has no trouble catching the ball in traffic and makes yards after a catch consistently. He should be a great addition to which ever school he selects for 2012.

Cardale Jones Quarterback 2011-2012 Ohio State Class

According to Rivals.com, Cardale Jones is the 7th best prep star recruit in the class of 2012. The former 2011 recruit from Cleveland Glenville spent the past year at Fort Union Military Academy and is now preparing to enroll at Ohio State. The 6’5” pro-style quarterback has a soft touch and the ability to through deep down the sidelines as you can see from this Scouting Ohio highlight video. He has good accuracy but might need change positions to the defensive side of the ball when he arrives in Columbus.
